Senior Director, Surgical Services
The Senior Director of Surgical Services will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of a high-volume surgical department, including ORs, PACU, and Same Day Surgery. This role involves strategic leadership, managing a team that includes three operations managers as direct reports, and ensuring the efficient delivery of care across 20 operating rooms. The Director will focus on operational improvements, staff development, and maintaining high standards of patient care. Additionally, the role will include budget oversight, reporting, and collaboration with key stakeholders to achieve program growth and increased productivity.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a surgical services environment
- Strong skills in financial management, operational strategy, and team leadership
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and EMR systems
- Ability to manage complex operations and drive performance improvement
