Magee Resource Group is partnering with a not-for-profit health system in the Midwest that includes a tertiary care hospital, outpatient clinics, and an employed physician group to recruit a Manager of Inpatient Pharmacy to lead and oversee hospital pharmacy operations. This role blends leadership with direct operational expertise, ensuring the pharmacy runs smoothly while developing a team of self-sufficient leaders. The Manager will oversee staffing, scheduling, employee relations, policy compliance, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day hospital pharmacy operations, including central pharmacy workflow, clean room, compounding, hazardous drugs, and order sets
• Manage and develop staff including clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, coordinators, and buyers
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Track KPIs, manage drug shortages, and serve as the subject-matter expert for dispensing systems
• Build a self-sufficient team capable of handling operations independently when the Manager is off-site

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in hospital pharmacy operations
• 3+ years of management experience
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, structure, and energize the team
• Licensed Pharmacist (PharmD or RPh)
