Magee Resource Group is partnering with a growing cardiovascular program within a regional health system to recruit Registered Echo Sonographers for both inpatient hospital and outpatient cardiology opportunities. These are permanent direct-hire positions created to support continued program growth, stabilize staffing, and build long-term team culture.

Position Overview:

Openings are available across both inpatient and outpatient environments with schedule flexibility depending on candidate preference and skill set.

Hospital (Inpatient Cardiology)
• Multiple openings available
• Schedule options include:

• 7 on / 7 off rotation
• Traditional 5×8 schedule
  • Opportunity to support a broad mix of echo and non-invasive cardiac studies
  • Exposure to expanding cardiovascular services and advanced structural heart programs

Outpatient Cardiology
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Business hours only
• No weekends
• No routine call
• Strong preference for candidates with Echo + Vascular capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography studies in accordance with department protocols
• Produce high-quality images to support physician interpretation and patient care decisions
• Support stress testing procedures as appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians and cardiovascular team members to ensure excellent patient care
• Maintain workflow efficiency while balancing quality and patient experience
• Participate in quality initiatives and process improvement efforts
• Demonstrate adaptability and coachability while learning department-specific standards

Qualifications:

• Registered Echo Sonographer preferred
• ARDMS or CCI credentials accepted
• Registry-eligible candidates considered with completion timeline in place
• Strong cardiac imaging fundamentals and technical competency required

Preferred Experience:

• Cardiac Echo experience
• Stress testing exposure preferred
• Procedure experience helpful
• Vascular ultrasound experience strongly preferred for outpatient roles, including:

• Carotid studies
• Abdominal vascular studies
• Peripheral vascular studies
  • Pediatric echo exposure considered a plus but not required
