Magee Resource Group is leading a search for an Executive Director of Cardiovascular Services with a growing health system in Alabama. This is a newly created leadership role built to bring hospital and practice cardiology operations under one strategic vision.
The foundation is strong. The opportunity is in program rebuild and expansion.
This executive will partner with physician and administrative leaders to restart momentum in Structural Heart, rebuild EP, and support CV surgery growth.
What you’ll touch
• Employed cardiology practice with cardiologists + APPs
• 7 outreach clinics
• 4 Cath labs (1 EP-capable)
• Invasive & non-invasive services
• Valve and heart/lung clinics
• Close partnership with CVOR & inpatient cardiac units
Volumes are significant and trending upward, but instability in key specialties has created room for a true system-level leader to step in and align the service line.

Someone who can build relationships with physicians and bring service line strategy, financial discipline, and process improvement.

• Master’s preferred (MHA/MBA)
• 5–10+ years progressive cardiovascular leadership
• History of building or relaunching programs
• Strong physician partnership skills
• Financial and strategic acumen
